Making room for everyday life

The brief was to modernize the upper level of the home while creating spaces that felt warmer, calmer and more connected. The renovation included a complete redesign of the primary suite, with custom white oak closets, a custom vanity, new flooring, paint and a custom fireplace replacing the original stone surround.

Elsewhere, the family living spaces were carefully updated rather than completely reinvented. Existing elements were simplified, storage was redesigned with concealed custom cabinetry, the staircase was refreshed with a custom white oak handrail, and the patio was transformed into a more inviting outdoor living space. The result is a home that feels lighter, more considered and much better suited to the way the family lives today.
