The story behind Neuba

One of my favorite things about traveling is discovering places that
feel completely authentic. Sometimes it's a small hotel, sometimes a neighborhood restaurant, a gallery or a local market. It's rarely the obvious attraction that stays with me—it's usually the atmosphere, the details and the feeling of a place.

I think I look at homes in much the same way.

The spaces I enjoy most are the ones that feel personal and lived in, where nothing feels forced and everything feels like it belongs. They evolve over time, reflecting the people who live there rather than a particular trend or moment.

Interior design wasn't my first career. Before starting Neuba Design, I spent many years in graphic design, managing projects and working closely with clients. It gave me the opportunity to combine creativity with organization—something I still enjoy every day. I love the design side of my work, but I also enjoy bringing clarity to complex projects and helping people make sense of what can often feel like an overwhelming process.

I grew up in London and have since lived in Toronto and Sydney, and now call Los Angeles home. Living in different parts of the world has shown me that there's no single way to create a space. Each city has influenced the way I see design, and I think that's shaped the way I approach every project.

One of my favorite parts of any project is the beginning.

Walking into a home for the first time, hearing how people live and understanding what's important to them. Sometimes it's clear what needs to change. Other times it's about recognizing what's already working and building on it.

Every project is different, and that's exactly what I love about it.
